In this role, I contribute to the development and strategy of creative campaigns for brands including Sephora and Levi’s. As a Social and Community Coordinator, I develop and pitch campaign concepts for Sephora’s social channels, manage influencer marketing pipelines and talent coordination, and compile and present performance insights to high-profile partners, including Mariah Carey’s management team. I also oversee content development and scheduling across agency-owned social channels and have scaled the internal creator database from 900 to 2,400+ creators.
DESERT X SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
2023 to 2026: Social Media Management, Social Media Strategy & Development, Engagement Metrics Analysis, Brand StrategyAs the Social Media Manager for Desert X, I developed and executed content that reflected the organization’s brand identity and created a cohesive content calendar across all platforms. I produced engaging video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok and supported web development to ensure a seamless and consistent digital presence.
AFROMATCHA OWNER
2020 to 2024: Creative Direction, Garment Design, Garment Construction, Website Design, Social Media Management Developed a multidisciplinary creative platform supporting emerging innovators through collaboration and idea exchange. Designed and produced ethically made clothing collections in partnership with global manufacturers, grounded in personal storytelling.
Led all visual content production, including video, photography, casting, and shoot direction, while curating a cohesive digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Hosted a monthly radio segment interviewing emerging creatives, and built community-focused marketing partnerships with local coffee shops. Managed campaign rollouts with strong attention to timing, consistency, and creative direction.
